The HostageThis is the original cast recording of Rooke's musical based on Brendan Behan's play, The Hostage. The actors give it lots of energy and fun, Irish accents, as Rooke fills in the remaining vocals. The band recordings were done in Jim's studio, but most of the actors were recorded at the theater. Nice instrumentation here, but there were no drums for this performance or recording, so the sound is folksy and clearly musical theater. Rooke at their artsiest!

Shape NotesThis was Steven's first solo recording, recorded at Jim's studio. It features mostly a single guitar and a single voice, though there are occasional harmonies. The sparse production makes you focus on the lyrics. Almost every song on here was inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald's Tender is the Night. ![]() Want it? |

Apocrypha (Disc One)Over the years, from 1989 to 1995, many of Rooke's recordings were lost or never released. The Apocrypha series tries to present a chronological history of these missing demos, outtakes, and rare live performances. Many of the songs on the discs were staples of Rooke's live shows. If you were a fan in that period, then these discs are for you! The first disc is much more folksy with poorer quality of recordings, and really for fans only. The second disc is much more accessible and better quality. ![]() |

AquamarineOriginally, 5 of these tracks were produced for the soundtrack of a local
Atlanta film called High Tide at Hunting Island. We kept those tracks
and expanded the water and mythology themes to a full CD. Aquamarine
was the highlight of Robyn's time in the band, and it sold many copies,
second only to DG. This CD was recorded at Jim's studio. |

The King of China's DaughterSteven's favorite solo CD. If you like pretty love songs played on acoustic guitar, then this is the CD for you. Recorded at Jim's studio, the instrumentation is sparse, but there are more vocal harmonies present.

LexiconThis CD snuck out of the line-up for fans as a kind of Apocrypha follow-up. These songs bring together the two EPs, Lovely and Monopoly Music, plus, Rooke's single track releases from compilation CDs, like No Y, Scattered, and Decatur Decorum. Plus, we added a Christmas single and the acoustic performance of Kristina singing "I'll Be Your Girl" that got us into the Lilith Fair competition at Variety Playhouse. Want it? |

The HuntAh, this is a nice CD. The recording quality, from Jim's studio, is excellent. Although we did not release it with a lot of fanfare, it really showcases a tight, quality band. Get it, you will like it. This is Kristina's main CD with Rooke. ![]() artwork in design |

Frost on the PumpkinSteven's third solo CD is introspective and reflective--this is not the love song CD that was the 2nd CD. Fun lyrics, new arrangements that include multiple acoustics, piano, and lots of vocal harmonies. Good sound quality from Jim's studio.

Death by Misadventure(Steven & Andy live at Eddie's Attic)Over the course of a year and a half, Steven & Andy went to open mic nights at Eddie's Attic. Each time, we recorded what we performed. The sound quality at Eddie's is awesome, so you know this sounds good. The live audience between songs is nice, and we kept some of the silly banter in there for your amusement (but not too much!) Some of these songs are older Rooke songs, but some are originals for this CD only.
